Acoustic Insulation and Soundproofing
AphonyTM  Boards have very good noise absorbing qualities. Its multi cellular fibrous structure is specially designed to absorb noise and echoes. Its Average NRC of 20mm with glass wool 32 kg/m3 is 0.90, thus making it an excellent sound insulation material.

Thermal Insulation
AphonyTM  Boards have very good thermal properties as well. It is ideally suitable for all types of constructions where insulation against heat and cold and prevention of condensation on the interior surfaces of the building is necessary. It is also used with success in work places where the loss of heat is to be reduced to a minimum or where colling is made more effective by its application thus saving a lot of energy and power.

Fire Resistant
AphonyTM  Boards are fire resistant, non inflammable and immune to fire hazards. These WWCBs ( Wood Wool Cement Boards) have been tested and classified BI ( Non readily ignitable) according to the German DNI  4102 standards and Flammability Test ASTMD-876, Self extinguishing as per Indian standards.

Termite And Vermin Resistant
These boards/ Tiles are termite and vermin resistant even at moist places/ weather. It does not rot because of fungus, moisture or with passage of time.

Finishes
AphonyTM boards accepts all kinds of conventional rendering, plastering decorative materials, mastics and carpets. Acoustic ceiling can be spray or roll primered to retain acoustic properties of the product.

Humidity Regulating
AphonyTM  Fibrette and fibril unique feature is it acts as a hygrometric regulator. It absorbs excess humidity and releases it when normal conditions returns without any deformation. Hence AphonyTM acts as dehumidifier and humidifier.

Lightness
AphonyTM  range products are light in weight because it is designed to attain all qualities and still being light in weight.

Workability
AphonyTM Boards are easy to cut, screw, drill, cement plastered, bolted, glued and are easy to handle and work with.

Moisture Resistant
AphonyTM range is moisture resistant. These do not have any wear and tear when in contact with moisture. In fact it absorbs moisture when in contact with water directly and retains its original strength. Dampness caused by rendering with plaster will dry out after a short while.

Strength
AphonyTM Boards/ Tiles have great structural strength due to the interlocking and binding of fibres with a mixture of special cement. It does not disintegrate with passage of time.
In fact over a period  of years the fibres tend to become harder and  stronger.

Durability
AphonyTM Boards/ Tiles are not affected by biological, or any other reactive material. Infect over a period of time its resistance increases.

Installation
AphonyTM is very easy to install. Can be installed with steel, aluminum, iron or wooden grids.
